The perfect date night awaits you here - but make sure you make a reservation! Paseo Grill is located in the artsy, hipster Paseo district, and is one of my favorite spots in OKC for a romantic date night. Call well in advance and make a reservation though, tables go quickly and waits can be over an hour, especially on the Friday night art trails they have in the area once a month. Inside, it's dark and romantic, with curtains surrounding the tables. If you want an intimate table with curtains, you must specifiy that when you make your reservation. The food and wine are extraordinary - the steak and risotto have always been perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! The service has also been pretty good, and overall it's a very pleasant dining experience. I would certainly recommend it! Take the time to arrive early and walk around the Paseo district and window shop in the galleries if you have time - it makes for a wonderful evening.

Paseo grill is always a favorite for special occasions. I love the Ahi tuna salad. My favorite first course is the Mushroom Soup...so good. Great service too.

We came here for a graduation dinner and it was the perfect atmosphere. The little touches are what made this dinner special --- reading glasses with the menus, our helpful waiter and the curtains around each table. There were four people in our group. We ordered a couple of rounds of drinks and agreeded the wine was a better choice than the mixed drinks. Really loved the Norton Reserve. We started with the cheese plate and fried green beans. Both were excellent. The surf and turf was fantastic with the crab being the standout. The mushroom soup was creamy and unique. Would recommend coming here for a date or special event. Would not recommend bringing children here.
So this place was interesting. Wife had Chicken Saltimbocca: just a little chewy on the chicken; salty as one would expect. But the sides (mushrooms & mashed red potatoes) were incredible! I had the blackened trout--almost perfection! It was pretty moist. Maybe just 30 seconds overcooked, but well done. The blackening was seasoned to just the right level. I am always apprehensive about this, but glad i trusted the waitress's recommendation. The kiwi- avocado "salsa" was a step out of the ordinary and quite good. The green beans (would substitute something else next time) and pine nut orzo were capable sides. Though not as awesome as wife's sides. Appreciated the amuse bouche berries/ whipped cream were a nice treat at the end. Service was good; team approach to assist with refills and food delivery. They kept the pace moving to expectation. A word on the atmosphere: What is going on ? Wife described it like a "brothel" due to the curtained booths and considerably dim lighting (obv given any of the super dark food photos here on Yelp!). The background music was like one of the angst-filled "Massive Attack" early 90s sets. Brooding, down-tempo, big beats, just slightly too loud (sat directly across from the bar area). It did not aid my digestion --and I do like the forebearers of modern Alt/ EDM music ! It was one of my few $25 pp+ dining experiences recently where the atmosphere pulled down the dining experience! Definitely not a place for kids. 3.25 stars total. Food = 3.75. Atmosphere takes off a half *. That's just how I see it. Would return when in the right mood, in the right company.

Paseo Grill will always be one of my very favorites in the metro: for date night, for lunch, or just because. The atmosphere is perfect for any and all of the above, with the little alcoves and curtains it is fitting for a special occasion work lunch with coworkers or a quiet night with your better half. The latter is what brought me in most recently. We had tickets for Phantom of the Opera on a Thursday night and knew we would be pushing it to get home after work, change, get the babysitter set up and enjoy a meal before the show. We debated a grab-and-go option to save time and I am so glad we changed our minds (my grandpa always said 'smart people change their minds' so I guess that makes me a smartie!). We made a rezzo for PG and even had to call and bump it by 10 minutes since I can't ever just leave the babysitter to do her thing and always run behind. They were nice about that and everything else. As soon as we told our server Amelia that we had theater tickets, she made sure to get us out of there quickly but never made us feel rushed. We split a bottle of wine that Amelia recommended and I am so glad we did. It meant we never had to wait for another glass, made it OK to skip pre-show drinks and we got to try a new blend (that I have since forgotten!). I had the salmon and my husband had the pork chop and we both ate every single bite. We are always so grateful to get to eat at the same time, while the food is still warm and we get to use both hands (toddler parents, can I get an amen?!) but a place like Paseo Grill just elevates it to sublime. We didn't have time for dessert, but when the manager came around with the perfect portion of berries and whipped cream, I almost hugged her. It was the perfect ending to the perfect meal and set the stage for our night at the theater (see what I did there?). Oh, and if your coworkers ever ask you where you'd like to go for your birthday lunch, always go with Paseo Grill and get there early for their incredible chicken pot pie. It is a rich indulgence and they often run out, so it isn't an everyday lunch kind of meal, but even just talking about it makes me want to come up with a reason to go there again!

A 3.5 star would be more accurate but I will give this a 3 star since I would lean towards that way.... With that being said, my wife and I made reservations for two and was able to sit down at our table within 5 minutes of arriving. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night...I personally would not bring my kids here. My wife ordered the special of the night (Lamb Chops) and I had the Sea Bass. The only reason I would not give this a 5 star is the price. The total price, including tip, of our meals was $120. Trust me, I do not mind paying $120 for a meal but this meal wasn't worth the price. The food, service, and atmosphere was good but the food was a bit overpriced....

I started with their spinach dip and we added the crab. It was really delicious. I had their filet and king crab legs. The steak was cooked perfectly. I just wish they didn't drench my steak with sauce. My friend had their fish and risotto. I can't remember what kind of fish it was, but it was tasty. At the end of the meal they provided a berries and cream dessert. It was light and refreshing. I thought it was a nice touch. The only disappointment was the dessert we ordered. It is unfortunate that the bread pudding just didn't live up to the rest of our meal. I would suggest adding ice cream to balance it. The service was great.

Well, it was time to try Paseo again, and this time around, the food was much, much better. The mushroom soup really is a staple they can be very proud of, and I ignored the specials this time and went for chicken saltimbocca; my juicy, lightly seasoned chicken paired very well with buttery mashed potatoes and some impressively cooked carrots, where they hit that sweet spot where the carrot is fully cooked but still firm. I was a big fan, and the strawberries and cream they threw in for dessert was a nice touch. I also sampled a duck salad, which was my own fault considering how badly they've messed up duck in the past; in this case, it actually was cooked properly but the salad overall was underdressed and the ingredients were out of proportion. The bread is plain sourdough with packaged butter; I wish they'd not even provide it, honestly. Overall, though, the food was much better than my first attempt when I swore it off for (as it turned out) a couple years. Unfortunately, the other stuff I dislike about Paseo holds true. For one thing, you should not visit this place if you're over six feet tall. I had dangly, cutesy decorations brushing my head seemingly everywhere I went, though I'm willing to admit that I might have walked into the same thing twice in one case. It's also very cramped, so much so that despite the intimate atmosphere, it was surprisingly loud in the place. Being wedged into a little table against the entryway to the back dining room didn't help either. Yay for none of that silly mosquito netting, but boo for the sardine-like accommodations and heavy traffic passing by all night. Service was okay but our waitress had too many tables. It was good service by the standards of a lower-end place, if that makes sense, but not what I've grown accustomed to in Oklahoma City.* It probably didn't help that just reciting the specials alone probably took her a full 60 seconds. By the time she was done, I was congratulating her just for memorizing them all. Wouldn't hurt to ease up on the number, you know ... once you get to five options, they don't seem quite as special. Anyway, Paseo is serving some pretty good food in an atmosphere that I, personally, can't stand. If the food was as good as my chicken and that killer mushroom soup every time ... or if the service was perfect instead of just good ... or if I didn't feel so cramped in there ... I could go higher. As it is, we'll stick with three for now. * Getting snobby, I know.

The Paseo Grill did the h'orderves for my wedding at The Reserve across the street and it was wonderful! Many of my guests were so impressed with the service and the food. It was such a relief to know that everyone enjoyed the food. They are very prompt in there service and good at going the actual mile to make the experience a happy one!

Excellent dinner on 3/28! We enjoyed the hummus appetizer although neither of us thought much of the olive tapenade- more of a personal taste but I'm sure others enjoy. My entree was Guajillo Sea Bass special and if was much better than my highest expectations! Everything worked perfect together. My wife chose the Trout and made a happy plate as well. Can't wait until our next visit.

Went here during the Memorial Weekend Art Festival so they were only serving a limited lunch menu (it was dinner time). Was pretty disappointed by that, but I won't fault them for it. A coworker had talked about how good this place is so I went in with high standards. The ambiance was nice, but the dishes were hit and miss. Cream of Mushroom Soup - 5/5 It was as good as people say it is. It reminded me of a lobster bisque except with deliciously tender mushrooms instead of savory lobster. I pretty much came just for this and I'd probably come back just for this (I am a mushroom fanatic). It's also the most reasonably priced item on the menu. Fried Green Beans - 4/5 Good, if a bit fast foody. Pear and Spinach Salad - 3/5 Was really tasty and fresh, but the portion size is absurd. Spinach is not that expensive... Mediterranean Curried Chicken Salad - 3/5 Decent, but barely had any curry powder so was pretty much just generic chicken salad with pita slices. I've made this dish many times at home and it was better, cheaper, and about 10 times the portion size. Chicken and Spinach Quesadilla - 2/5 Very bland and uncreative. While the spinach and chicken might appeal to health nuts, the amount of cheese and sodium negates its only potential strength. I would rather have a quesadilla from Taco Bell. Meatloaf - 4/5 Very solid meat loaf, sauce, and garlic mashed potatoes. Portion size is acceptable for what we paid ($10). Not a fan of the glazed carrots, but the people I was with liked them. Overall, I wasn't very impressed, but nothing was less than decent and I'll have to give the real dinner menu a shot in the future.

Cute restaurant in a cute area. Recommend for a date night! VENUE: Came for dinner and it was dark and intimate. Kind of a small venue. For a cozier experience try to get a booth with the mosquito net (lol not sure if that's what it is. It's a sheer curtain). We were seated in a bigger room - right next to a bachelorette party. So kind of loud at times. FOOD/DRINK: I can't remember the drink I had (guess it did its job). But it had St. Germain and something fruity. It was good and strong. Cherry wood smoked salmon with hearts of Palm and artichoke medley - omgah. A mouthful. And a mouthful of goodness. I really enjoyed this started. It seems like a little at first but it was great. Just the right amount. I didn't get too full and was able to eat a lot of my main plain. Salmon was fresh the bread was very crunch. Excellent combination of flavors. Chicken saltimbocca - amazing. Chicken was tender and juicy. The veggies were great and cooked perfectly. Prosciutto was a nice addition to add that extra kick of flavor. Maple leaf duck - this was great. I'm used to eating duck cooked in an Asian way so this was a little different. The duck was cooked medium rare (this worried me at first) but it tasted amazing. Just the right balance of sweet and savory and the duck was soft and tender. Green beens were good. We didn't order dessert but they brought out a small serving of strawberries and blueberries with a butter cream frosting?/whip cream. It was the perfect sweet note to end on. SERVICE: Pretty good considering the place was busy. Our server was very apologetic for the Noise coming from the party next to us. It wasn't unbearable but she seemed annoyed on our behalf which I appreciated.

From the intimate seating, friendly staff, great service and astounding, incredible & amazing cuisine, yes #paseogrill is a wonderful jewel nestled center of the artsy paseo district. For starters I had the spinach dip that seemed to have rested in the aged cheese queso dip. My perfect margarita was just that perfect! I chose the pork chop that was juicy and packed with seasoned flavor. I loved the slightly chard grilled marks. Instead of glazed carrots I chose the sauteed mushrooms. They paired perfectly with the chop & mash potatoes with brown gravy. I absolutely love brown gravy. My date had a very good Ribeye! I kept reaching in his plate before I was light threatened to stay out of his plate creating a MistyDay platter. Lol The complimentary dessert of whipped cream (#heavenly rich) over fresh fruit.I highly suggest paseo grill for date night & for out of town guest for dinner and or birthday celebrations.

Stopped by for dinner after doing the art walk one night. Sat out on the patio by one of the heaters overlooking the street. I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and carrots. Loved the meal, decent portion of meatloaf and I couldn't get over the carrots. I am not really a carrot guy, but the way they prepared them was excellent. My wife ordered a grilled vegetable plate that we both enjoyed also. Can't wait to try out the place again and dine in next time.

Let me start by saying that the food was very good, service was excellent, waitress was very knowledgeable, and the ambience was very interesting. The reason I only gave it 2 stars is because as my dinner party and I were walking out we noticed a stack of hate-filled pamphlets setting at the front door for anyone to read. I find it unsettling that a restaurant that may have children walking in and out would leave such disgusting literature with inaccurate information and bold face lies in plain sight. Especially in the "Arts District" where you would think people would be a little bit more open-minded. As much as I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant up until that point, I'm not completely sure if I'll go back.

First time visiting this restaurant, went because we had a coupon. The ambience is really neat, especially if you get a booth with the privacy netting-very nice. We had the lobster-crab cake for an appetizer and I had a cup of their "famous" cream of mushroom soup. The crab cake was done perfectly and the soup was to die for! We both had the Chilean sea bass-was not disappointed. Fish was done perfectly and the potato cake beneath was very tasty! We had the chocolate volcano as a dessert and was not disappointed. Service was superb-will definitely be back!
The food is great, very well presented and really tasty with rich flavors. The service though was not good and impacted our overall experience. The waiter was in a rush and wasn't friendly, we felt that we weren't welcomed there and wanted to leave asap. I may go back for the food and the nice patio but I would think twice because of that service

This place never disappoints! Paseo Grill has a romantic flair unlike any other restaurants in Oklahoma. Most of the settings are in cozy booths with a sheer curtain to keep your conversations personal. It's so great for dates. The food is always amazing. My current favorite is the Chilean sea bass. It melts in your mouth! Their drinks are awesome and unique. The Italian bloodhound is fantastic! Who knew all those strange ingredients go so well together. My boyfriend threw a surprise birthday dinner for me there and they were great with our large party. They even cut up the cake he brought in and served it for us! Great restaurant, food, service, management, etc.

Went on the 3rd of July loved the food and drinks. The steaks we ordered were cooked correctly and I will return next time I am in town. One thing I didn't read yelp and wished I did before going here. MAKE reservations! We didn't and sat at the bar but still I will return anytime I am in town. We would have liked to have gotten a booth they have a romantic feel about them. Friday is a good day after dinner we had a nice walk down the Paseo.

Still one of the most unique dining establishments in OKC. The meatloaf is out of this world and I love their hummus and olive tapenade! I would give them 5 stars if I could just convince them to carry one premium NA beer, just one! Great place!

It didn't blow me away but it didn't dissapoint. I like going into the Paseo for any reason really so this was nice--I got the steak sandwich I think. I liked it. It had a nice au jus with it. I love an Au jus. I like the decor. Hmm. What else. I don't know. I thought it was good.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in OKC. They get 5 stars in every area from me for service, food, ambience, cocktails, decor and anything else one might rate at their establishment. The servers are always very knowledgeable about the specials, current menu, wine offerings and they have perfected the ability to be available and helpful, yet not intrusive. Their cocktails are some of the best I have ever had next to the Spicy Secreto in Santa Fe. Try the Parisien or the As Thyme Goes By. They are both wonderful and they both have my favorite liquer, St. Germain. Try their Filet. It is topped with perfectly sauteed mushrooms and the best butter sauce that will ever touch your palate. If that wasn't enough it comes with a side of glazed carrots which are prepared the only way carrots should ever be, softened but still al dente with a sweet and salty glaze. Don't miss out on their Cream of Mushroom Soup or Key Lime Pie either. The Cream of Mushroom soup is a decadent treat chock full of button mushrooms. The Key Lime Pie is just right. The crust is a perfect balance of walnuts and graham cracker to compliment the Key Lime filling. It is sinful almost. I absolutely adore the fact that they give you mignardises or a lagniappe. At the conclusion of every meal they bring you a mini champagne flute filled with fresh berries and fresh whipped cream. It's like an amuse bouche, but at the conclusion of a meal. I tip my hat to you Paseo Grill.

The food was very good, but the service was quite slow. It took a very long time to get refills and our check. If you are going for dinner, make sure you have reservations.
Went here one evening after seeing a gift card on restaurant.com . we didnt quite expect it to be as "fancy" as it was. We were taken into the backroom, not sure whether its because we didnt have a reservation or possibly because we were slightly underdressed. It was nice all the same. There is a nice ambiance in the place and the staff was very nice. I ordered the salmon and my friend had the meatloaf, we shared the artichoke dip. All of the food was amazing. At the end of our meal the manager came out to thankmus for dining with them and gave us a berry and cream desert. It is kind of pricey but well worth and there are always deals on restaurant.com .

My wife & I had dinner here tonight. I had the Chicken Saltinbocca which was fantastic. Chicken cooked perfectly, carrots on the side were sweet & cooked well. Mashed potatoes were great too. My wife had the NY strip special with blackened jumbo shrimp. Again...very good. This was the first time I'd been here & I was pleasantly surprised by the intimate & romantic atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly & helpful. I'll definitely be back.

From cocktail to dessert -- and everything in between -- I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Paseo Grill. As I walked in the doors for the first time, my initial thought was that I just entered an old Roman brothel. Wispy curtains separated every table, cloaking each diner mysteriously. I double checked the sign on the door to make certain I was in the right place. This did not end up detracting from the ambiance, however, as I thought it would. Sure it seemed over the top, but it turned out to offer my party a great sense of privacy and intimacy. Next, the service here was simply incredible. I can not say it will be the same every time I return because I've only experienced one server, but he was the best waiter I have ever had. Present, knowledgeable, and charming when we needed him; and considerately absent when we did not. He was able to communicate well about every cocktail, wine, and menu offering Paseo offers -- a dying skill in the food industry. The food itself was very good, too. Between the seven of us in my group, we experienced a good number of cocktails (all of which were excellent), the Alaskan crab, the scallops, their fillet, a couple bottles of wine, and a few different desserts. I was more than satisfied with everything. After dinner, my girlfriend and I stayed at the bar to talk and have one final drink. The bartender was extremely personable and friendly. He spent time talking with us about wine and our work, and was out of the way when the two of us wanted privacy. The staff here truly knows the art of service and distinguished subtlety. This is a superb place for family dinners or dates. Their bar is wonderful stocked, too, if you're just looking for drinks.

Very cute neighborhood. Stopped in for the filet and a glass of wine. The bartender was great and let me sample a couple of options before deciding. The food was tasty and the staff even brought me or a tiny dessert to say thanks for stopping in. Very impressed. My only complaint is that the food was pretty salty. I'll be back next time I'm in OKC.

Love the food AND the atmosphere here...very cool place to have a nice meal!
Food was very good all around. My steak was kind of stringy and had a decent amount of gristle, so for a prime steak I wasn't overly impressed but that's not the restaurant's fault. Worth your time, I will definitely go back.

The intimate atmosphere, wine list and service are top reasons to go, however, they definitely need to expand their menu to include more healthy vegetarian-friendly options. It's like, "Oh, you want a salad..." Look at the Cheesecake Factory menu for reference. Lots of variety and enticing combinations there. Last time at Paseo Grill I passed on the flavor fatty meals and charred flesh and ordered a crab salad because I was feeling crabby. I could have made a better one myself since the crab tasted like it was fresh from a can. Really? At least it wasn't imitation crab, that is disgusting and would not fool a third grader. My recommendation is to go late for a glass of wine and share a dessert. You can initiate a semi diabetic coma with a smile on your face.

Enjoyed another excellent meal last weekend at Paseo Grill. Our waitress was super attentive and helpful. My steak was a tad undercooked for my taste so while they put it back on the grill they brought a complimentary pair of shrimp cocktail. DELISH! As was the steak for that matter. The small fruit dish to finish the meal is top notch too.

For a restaurant in the Paseo, I'm surprised they aren't more vegetarian-friendly, but that didn't stop me from wanting to come here for my birthday even after viewing their menu online. First of all, the atmosphere in this place is awesome and I would give it five stars alone. All the tables are enclosed with curtains and it is very dimly lit with some nice music playing. I loved that aspect of the restaurant. I ordered a caesar salad to start and my mother and I split a delicious bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The caesar was decent but really lacked something and I was actually a tad disappointed in it. Our bottle of wine, however, was delicious and gone to soon. For dinner I had the vegetarian napolean and my mother had the farfalle pasta. My napolean consisted of grilled vegetables, wilted spinach, pine nut orzo and only two portabellini mushroom caps (sadly). For $15, you'd think they'd hook it up with the mushrooms, but to no avail. Everything was delicious, do not get me wrong; it was just not what I expected at all. My mother's fresco farfalle was wonderful but I can only imagine how ridiculously unhealthy it was. Paseo Grill is good and maybe my view is skewed because there isn't much on the menu for me, but I would rather spend that much money on dinner somewhere else with more variety. I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I thought I would. I can't say I'll never go back to Paseo Grill, but it is definitely not at the top of my list.

Dinner was great as well as the service. I had ordered flowers to be delivered to the restaurant and I guess they were however the staff couldn't find them until we were leaving the restaurant. Oh well it was just my anniversary and not having the roses on the table with us wasn't important to the restaurant staff. Yes I called the day before and informed them that the roses would be delivered.

Paseo Grill is my favorite date night restaurant in the area. I love the decor and the ambience, and both of my experiences thus far have been wonderful. I love the Atlantic Salmon entree, which was perfectly grilled and served over a refreshing orzo and cucumber salad. I also like the hearty Meat Loaf, served cheesy mashed potatoes and sweet carrots. The Duck Breast isn't my favorite, but I might be biased because I am used to Chinese roast duck and usually don't prefer Western-style duck dishes. I have also had the Seafood Trio, a special menu item offered during the summer, and the scallops were succulent and super sweet. For dessert, try the Chocolate Divine Cake! Note: many of the dinner items can be ordered during lunch for a lower price!

Had an excellent dinner this past weekend! The dishes were all excellent but the standout was the side dish with one if the specials - a pablano pepper stuffed with crab and 3 kinds of cheese...unbelievably good! Excellent service with a great waiter. We had a reservation and had to wait a bit for our table, but not unacceptably long (plus it was the arts walk Friday so every place was crowded).

The following sums up my family's hostile experience at the Paseo Grill this afternoon: 1. Upon arriving my mother had to ask four separate people to address a problem. This wasn't addressed until we decided to fix the issue ourselves. a. Next to no communication between wait staff and the kitchen. 2. A waiter berated my mother with snide comments after she asked a simple question regarding her food. 3. Observed other pretentious behavior by wait staff interacting with other customers. All of the above is a shame because the food was good. Props to the chef.

A friend and I were here for lunch on a Friday at about 11:45. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. Our waiter, however didn't appear for a good 10 minutes and when he did it was very clinical. I don't know what we did to bother him. Anyway, we asked for straws for our water. He retrieved them promptly but jammed them in the water as if annoyed. The food was good, but this guy...I tipped him too much.

The first time my husband and I ate dinner here we were thrilled. We sat in a quiet curtained booth, the food was hot and tasty and the server excellent. We were so excited to go back after several months but was hugely disappointed. We were seated in the back at a small table next to a group of 10 and another group of 6. There was a hi def television behind us showing art pictures that glared in our faces and provided no ambiance at all. The air conditioner hummed so loudly and rhythmically that it was nauseating and we could barely hear each other talk. Then, to top it off the food was room temperature. Even the plates were not warm so the food probably sat for at least 10 minutes before it was served. Ever have a congealed mushroom? Not going back.

My boyfriend and I love this place! It's our favorite spot for date night! It is on the pricey side so we typically save it for special occasions but the food is absolutely delicious! We have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is neat, service is wonderful, and the food is superb. The house salad is so good. Sometimes I consider getting that as my meal but then am usually distracted by their steaks or seafood. Also, they bring everyone a fruit and whipped cream parfait at the end of your meal. The whipped cream is homemade and sooo yummy! We recommend Paseo Grill to everyone we know!

Love the privacy with the curtained booth seating, and the service is always great. I had the shrimp cocktail and my boyfriend had a meat dish. The food isn't great but not bad either and after dinner it's nice to walk over to another area in the Paseo district.
I should start by saying Paseo Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma City. My boyfriend, surprised me with flowers at work and then told me I got to choose dinner. My boyfriend is from Kansas so every time we try a new restaurant it's always been a hit with him. I've consistently had a five star approval everywhere we go. I told him all my favorite things about this restaurant and I could tell he was anxious to try it. I wasn't sure how busy they would be on a Tuesday night, so I called and made reservations. We arrived on location 15 minutes later. We walked in and I had a rush of positive memories from the last time I was here. The decor is modern but with a romantic underground feel. It reminds me of a hidden gem when you walk in and the hostess podium is right in front of their exquisite bar. We were sat in a booth, which I was secretly excited about and we waited patiently for the waiter. He showed up and seemed nice enough. We ordered the fried green beans to start with a chipotle aioli. For our main course Dru ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon (7 oz. Fresh Atlantic Salmon grilled and topped with Beurre Blanc and Smoked Jicama & Pepper Confetti. Served with Toasted Pine Nut Orzo and Cucumber Salad) with a small Caesar salad, while I ordered the Pork Chop (8oz. Mustard and Herb rubbed Boneless Pork Loin grilled & served medium well, topped with Lemon Beurre Blanc. Served with Mashed Potatoes and Glazed Carrots.) and a small cup of their Cream of mushroom soup. So far so good... We finished the fried green bean appetizer and waited for a good 10 minutes before we ever saw our waiter. He came took the plate and promptly left. We sat there for a good 15 more minutes before he ever showed up to refill our water. Someone else brought us our main course. The food was phenomenal. My pork chop was perfect, moist and flavorful. The potatoes, carrots and pork chop's flavors came together for the perfect bite. The boyfriend let me try a bite of his salmon and it was grilled to perfection. The Smoked Jicama and Pepper confetti paired nicely with the grilled salmon. It was a flavor explosion. Alas, our salad and cup of soup never made it to the table. Neither did our waiter for a long time. When he finally did come back it was brief. Someone else came to check on how the food was tasting and if we were doing all right. Again, waiter came to check on us a little while later. He asked if we would be interested in dessert. I asked about the complimentary fruit with homemade whip cream, and he said, "none for you, for him yes, but not you." Yes- I realize he was joking around but after his absence for most of our meal I could not tell if it was a joke or not. He was a bit too sarcastic for our taste, especially when the food is higher priced then most restaurants and we chose this restaurant based on the over all experience. He brought the check out. Obviously, he was not joking. The manager then brought out the complimentary dessert, i was relieved. It was the perfect food ending to our dinner. The whole meal was overall a great one. The service was disappointing especially because I have been here so many times before and I never experienced this lack of attention to a dinner guest. The waiter was partially rude and never really there. The young man that brought out our main course was very polite and nice. We both said out loud, "why could he have not been our waiter, can we just tip him?" The boyfriend said he would consider coming back in the future if we had a different waiter. I hope he will give it another shot because he still needs to try the "I would diet forever just to have one bowl of their cream of mushroom soup." I tweeted about our experience as we were leaving. Paseo Grill tweeted me back this morning. I'm impressed with the attention to social media posts, I just wish that same attentiveness would have been a part of our dining experience last night.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. We visited this weekend for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is a perfect date place! I'm obsessed with the private and romantic curtains for the booths. Why don't all restaurants have this? Our server, David, was professional, fun, and knowledgeable ... and not just about the wines and the menu (although he did make excellent suggestions, which we took!). But he also knew about the musical we were seeing after dinner, and made sure we had our ticket in plenty of time to get to the theater. And when I requested more bread for the delicious hummus and olives, he not only brought pitas, but also french bread and large croutons. The food was excellent, and the mushroom soup was to die for! They brought us a sampling of sparkling wine and berries with homemade cream as a happy anniversary treat, and I've never had anything so perfect. All in all, this is our new favorite restaurant in OKC, and we will be returning as soon as we can.

I'm from Dallas and a friend from OKC and I were hosting a friend from Switzerland. We started off with the pear and spinach salad, tomato and mozzarella salad and a bowl of mushroom soup. The three of us shared these wonderful starters. Have to say the soup was spectacular. The salads were also delicious. Our entrees were the meatloaf (amazing), salmon and seared tuna salad. All three were fresh and delicious. Probably the best was the meatloaf as it was hand-ground with delicious, fresh ingredients. For dessert we shared a chocolate pyramid. Although the food was delicious, reasonably priced and satisfying I have to say the service was even better. We had the best assistance from management and staff, making our visit memorable and impressing our European friend with the care, friendliness and warmth of OKC. I can't thank the staff enough for helping make our meal a wonderful memory that we could share with our Swiss friend.

The food was just ok. But what is really going on here. 1St you have no A/C. I was told its a old building. Well ok but old buildings can't have a A/C unit that works?? Service just wasn't there. Like we were bothering them. Well if they were on the game we wouldn't be bothering them!! The chairs were so uncomfortable it made you want to just finish meal and leave. Too many issues and just not friendly staff. Not a place that I would recommend. Sorry

The Paseo grill is something to be checked out -- you will not be let down! We walked in on a Friday night with out reservations and were able to be seated immediately, the food was marvelous (blackened trout), however more than that the service was phenomenal. They were very accommodating to the fact that we were rushed for time because of reservations that night. With out a word to our waiter other than mentioning to my girlfriend that I hoped we would make our reservations at 9:00pm, the manager overheard and told the cook and the manager. Our food and complimentary desert was in front of us in 15 minutes. WHO DOES THAT. superb service, romantic casual atmosphere, and delicious food. This is now our favorite restaurant. A must try for all!

A group of 9 of us came in for lunch - 6 locals and 3 of us from Phoenix. We heard about how good the food was and it did not disappoint at all. I had the chicken pot pie and it was fantastic! Our waitress was great and the curtained booths added to the ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everone!

Paseo Grill - had the best meal in OKC this trip. To start with, our server was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine list. They made us feel welcome but also gave us privacy. Everything we ordered was excellent. Plenty of subtle flavors.that blended well together for aromatic and delicious appetizers and entrees. Ihe tomato basil bisque was delicate but had some nice depth of flavor. The crab & lobster cake appetizer was light and had pieces of the seafood rather than the usual shredded variety. The duck was fantastic and the salmon flavor was subtle and not overpowering. Will try to make it back next time I am in the region.

I wish Yelp allowed for ratings with half a star as the Paseo Grill is worthy of 3 1/2 stars, but maybe just short of 4 at least based on my visit. So, because of this limitation I had to go one way, and decided on 3 vs 4. Many other reviewers have made note of the decor and general ambiance. So I'll just add, it's a cute place, which definitely caters to couples. A good friend of mine brought me to Paseo Grill for my birthday. It was my first visit, while she had been numerous times before. Service was good, and our waiter was enthusiastic and responsive throughout our meal. He ran down a long list of recommendations prior to the meal, but I ended up going with one of the standard menu items, the blackened trout while my dinner companion had the pork chop. In hind-site I kind of regret not following his advice, but maybe another time. For an appetizer we had the fried green beans with the Chipotle Aioli dip. This was really very good and nary a green bean was left when we finished (mostly me) the very large plate full. Our main course arrived promptly after our appetizer and both were very nicely plated. I love blackened trout and enjoyed the Paseo Grill's, however it didn't rank up as one of the best I have ever had (not even in the area). However it certainly wasn't bad either. Believe me when I say, there was not a piece of fish left on my plate when I finished. My dinner companion enjoyed her pork chop, but didn't rave about it either. She let me try a piece and while it was flavor able, it was a bit tough, but only slightly. The sides on both of our dishes were good, but not great as well. We ended the dinner with a nice slice of key lime pie which had a very nice flavor, but a very weak presentation as it was plated all alone in the center of a large plate, making it seem smaller than it actually was. It may sound like I didn't enjoy my visit or meal at Paseo Grill, but I assure you this was not the case. It just lacked anything that would set it apart from any number of other similarly priced restaurants and these days I go wherever has the most band for the buck. I will definitely go back to the Paseo Grill if for no other reason than to try what I understand is the best chicken pot pie around, but also because I think I may not have seen the best they have to offer.

Excellent restaurant. Easily one of the top 3 restaurants in Oklahoma City. I thoroughly enjoyed each part of the meal. I relied on my fellow yelpers to guide my meal... we ordered a cup of the mushroom soup, had the hummus and caprese appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and for dessert we ordered a few on the list. The mushroom soup was creamy and good and didn't taste like your typical mushroom soup. The hummus was just okay but the olive tapenade that comes with it was delicious. My chicken was moist with lots of flavor and the potatoes were great. The carrots are on the sweet side but cooked perfectly. (i.e. Not mushy....) The crowning moment of this meal was the dessert ... the key lime pie was AMAZING. The waiter said, "It's as close to my mama's as it gets." After tasting the pie, I wanted to meet his mama and see if it was true... Cause I'd be willing to get adopted for that pie... :) Each table is sectioned off with a sheer curtain... the wait staff was informative and polite and quick. it was great end to my visit to OKC.

Needless to say, this place would have gotten all good marks from me, had I not gotten food poisoning from the meatloaf. Having come from Seattle, I've experienced food poisoning so many times before to recognize it immediately(It is always from a ground beef product in my experience) The service was great and the place looked good. The mushroom soup was excellent, as was the Creme Brrule we had for desert afterward. Even the ratatouille was pretty good. Alas, the meatloaf tasted all right, though not stellar. I wonder though, if that wasn't because proper food safety measures weren't used with it. Overall even though I liked the place I wouldn't go back there. It's hard to forgive a restaurant that has you locked in your bathroom for the night and next day after eating there. .

Amazing upscale restaurant. Perfect for a date night. Had atlantic salmon and it was amazing. The complementary whipped cream fruit dessert was unexpected and delicious. The atmosphere was very intimate. May be a little dark for some. I even saw an elderly lady use a flashlight to look at the menu. The art and decor was very interesting and helped create the experience. Definitely will go back.

On the lunch menu, the chicken pot pie is awesome. Tip: If you're going to order the pot pie, when you sit down, ask the server how many are left

Fantastic food, you definitely get what you pay for here. Had their delicious 6 oz filet w/ a crab cake, both were exquisite. Steak was perfectly cooked, with a wonderfully crispy sear. Crab cake was delicious, they didn't scrimp on the crab meat. Fantastic cocktails too, try the Cafe Pacaya if you're a coffee lover and the Italian Bloodhound if you like strawberries. Dinner can be pricy, but lunch isn't as bad. We'll be going back, great for a upscale date night.

To start the service here was great! Our waiter was extremely kind and new a lot about the food and drink menus. The atmosphere is awesome too. Very very relaxing and styleish joint. Certain tables/booths have curtains around them so you and your party have a feeling of privacy. This also makes it a great date destination. In regards to the food......its great. I had the crab legs and they were awesome. It came with garlic and rosemary rice and grilled veggies. Everything on the plate was perfect. The crab legs were already cracked open and ready to eat so that was a nice change. We went on a week night so it wasn't busy at all. It is definitely a pricey joint. I paid for my date and I. We had two entrees, two glasses of wine each and shared a piece of Keylime pie and it was $190.00. I say its worth it though. Especially if it is some kind of special occasion. Try it!

Their steak special sounded and looked great, but was a misfire from the chef. We sent it back. And we never do that! They bent over backwards to make it right for us. Ty was a great waiter and also really knew the wines. This place is always a great place for date night and has one of the most romantic spaces anywhere.

We stopped in here because I had saved the address for "Sauced" into my Garmin, and we got burned by the incorrect address for Ted's Cafe Escondito. We ambled into the Paseo Grill not knowing what to expect, but simply needing hot food after a long day travelling. I wasn't expecting such fancy digs, but we went for it, dug in and ate. I was surprised to see such fancy folks on a Monday evening, but that didn't sway me.. I had the Chicken Farfalle, and my husband had the Alaskan Salmon. Don't miss the Hummus appetizer!

Paseo Grill is in the top 5 best places to eat in the metro! They have the best sea bass I've ever had in my life! The service is always top notch and the ambiance is fabulous! The booths are privet and quite. They have a pretty nice wine list and the servers are very knowlegeable on both their wine menu and food menu. I can't understand why anyone would give this a bad review. I love the Paseo Grill and will continue to go back again and again!!!

I dined here last night. It was wonderful experience. The ambiance was very romantic and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was quite good but not outstanding. I enjoyed the sun fish with artichoke, asparagus, and spinache raviolo and my companion enjoyed the salad with seared tuna. The seared tuna was divine. I definitely reccomend it. They have an excellent selection of wine. I would highly recommend this place for some one going on a nice dinnere date.

Party of seven HAPPY Sitting on the patio, no wind, perfect temperature. A group of us girls hanging on the patio. It doesn't get better than this! Tomato & mozzarella caprese salad Hummus bi Tahini and pita bread The sauce on the filet, awesome The meatloaf is why I came in the first place - I know, I know you're saying meatloaf. Don't judge till you have tried it, with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. Amazing sauce on the meatloaf. Yummy!! Lobster and crab cake (remember this is an appetizer) Vegetarian Platter there is always one that has to be a rebel Fried green beans Chicken pot pie - oh my Pork tenderloin I know we were there a good part of the afternoon with appetizers Drinks you should definitely try the cucumber club special It was. A couple of girls had margaritas oh yeah then we were up for the main course Then someone said bread pudding then we moaned Then the manager came out with this delicate berries and cream dessert that's all I needed John was our waiter, he was wonderful, funny and didn't have a problem being in the middle of these girls for a photo op Shoot I'm getting hungry...guess I'll call the girls

I ate here a while back and it was soooooo nice. My girlfriend and I ordered a brie pizza and we both sat outside and drank about three negra modelos each. I can't speak for the inside, but outside we watched the Paseo pedestrians go in and out of art galleries and shops. They also have live music at night. The atmosphere is more than ideal on a nice day in the Paseo.

Contemporary American with Southwestern accents, Paseo Grill is a nice space with a terrific patio. Located at the southern end of Paseo Drive (the primary street that runs through the heart of the Paseo Arts District) as part of the same building that houses boutique Kathy's On The Paseo, Paseo Grill didn't wow me this time out (if you call it a Pear & Spinach Salad, it needs more pears than just a garnish), but I'll definitely come back. Broad menu offerings, attentive service, and a level of sophistication that's been lacking in OKC (although we're getting better). Park in the large parking lot to the south of the building (not on the street).

Service was very friendly and attentive. Hummus appetizer and chicken saltimbocca were very good. Dessert options seemed weaker than apps and entrees, but I enjoyed the carrot cake. Coffee could use improvement.

Decent American food with a slightly southwestern flair, but the drinks were a little bit weaker than what I'm accustomed to. There's a somewhat Halloween theme to this place, with curtains separating the different sitting sections, and very low lighting (we could barely read the menus). I had the salmon because it was one of the few dishes that didn't include mashed potatos and cooked carots, and it was pretty good. The seafood special was looking like it would be brilliant, but $80 for a meal wasn't In my future. The dessert of mixed berries and cream was my high point.

Very nice looking place but the food was sub-par and the service was horrible. Our waitress (I believe her name was Robin?) needs to find a new career. Worst service I've had in years. Don't tell me you are waiting on the bartender to make our drinks for half an hour then bring out watered down margaritas full of melted ice. We went to Big Truck Tacos the next day for lunch and had better food and much, much better service in 1/4 of the time for 1/4 of the price. I wouldn't recommend Paseo Grill to anyone unless I just didn't like them. The only bright side was the fried green beans. Other than that, if I would have been alone I might have walked out on the bill.

Came here with my father, stepmother, and her great-grandson to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. I live in Chicago, so my decision to take them here was driven by Yelp reviews, and we weren't disappointed. We arrived 40 minutes early for our reservation, and the hostess worked quickly to accomodate us. Our waiter was informative and humorous, but not overbearing. Dad ordered the strip, which was delicious. The southwestern meatloaf my stepmom had was good, though a bit rich (the sauce) for her taste. Her great-grandson, usually a very picky eater, enjoyed his farfalle chicken immensely, and the fried green beans he had were a hit. My ribeye was good, though lacked a bit in flavor, but still a good cut. The sides we shared of glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus were all amazing, and the cream of mushroom soup was the best I've ever had (if someone figures out what's in that sauce, let me know - i'm in withdrawls not having it here!). The bread pudding was a great finishing touch, as were the fruit sorbet bowls we were served. Great special occasion location, great beer and wine list, and impeccable service!

Growing up in the 1950's the Paseo District was a cool place in an Oklahoma City that just wasn't cool. For those old enough do you remember the Paseo Plunge swimming pool. But also there was this building that had the El Charittos Mexican restaurant. The Paseo has had some hard times and the Mexican restaurant is gone, but the recent revival has seen artist being exhibited in many shops, and The Paseo Grill in the old El Charittos location. It is a funky cool restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining, a small wine list but one filled with great bargains that go beyond the Cab Sav cliche. Last weekend we started with a David Bruce Petit Syrah, although the tempranillo selection was tempting and cheaper. Not having dined there before, just having drinks on the patio last year, we approached the American cuisine menu carefully. We like to split our food because we are not big portion eaters, and I was really glad we did. Like many Oklahoma places to eat, the emphasis is on big portions. They had Kobe style beef from Australia but it was 12 ounces only which is a whole cow to us, and Charlene doesn't eat beef. We ended up splitting a spinach and pear salad with caramelized walnuts and even it would serve two. The mistake we made was ordering two entrees. My Chilean Sea Bass with the miso glaze was exceptional but 7 ounces is a lot. Same for the salmon she had. We will go back but we split an entree that with the sides that come with it is plenty for two normal eaters. The good news is that the $34 entree is a reasonable $17 when split. My suggestion is to plan a evening around an The art walk that is the first Friday of every month, and their are 17 galleries with over 60 artist, and they serve wine and the streets are full of people. Then go over to the Paseo Grill. split the entrees, share an appetizer, enjoy the good wine, and say to yourself, this really doesn't feel like a typical Oklahoma City homogenized food experience. Remember that part of the value of an expensive evening out is the experience. At Paseo you will get that, and good service too.

Pretty satisfied with the food. I would say this is GrEaT for a date night. You and your guest are able to have your own table with a curtain. It's kind of interesting but neat at the same time. They give you some French bread (upon request) which tastes like a walmart bread that was sliced. It was cold and not much to brag about. Starters: strawberry spinach salad, perfectly dresses with candied pecans and ripe pear. Refreshing and delicious. Also, we had the spinach artichoke dip which was served piping hot and tasty. I had the salmon with jicama salad and sautéed vegetables. Salmon wasn't dry and jicama salad paired very well! My friend ordered the flounder topped with guac and side or carrots I believe. He thought the fish was bland which seemed to balance out the saltiness of the guac. Dessert: chocolate pyramid. Let down I would say. It was described similar to "a little something chocolate" from Redrock. The brownie didn't have much flavor and was dry, luckily ice cream was good. I wouldn't eat this again.

(3)Bella L.

We absolutely love this restaurant. The fruit/cheese platter is to die for! This is our go-to restaurant when we are looking for a date night or night out with friends.

Perfection! Definitely a favorite!

Very disappointed after reading the reviews Food was average, at best. Service was slow. Extremely overpriced. Won't be going back.
(2)Geoffrey H.
(2)April D.

I am so sorry to give a poor review because Paseo Grill has been one of my favorites for several years; however, my recent experiences have been slightly less positive, and my most recent the worst of all. I ate lunch there with a friend and the waiter seemed sullen and angry -- when he FINALLY bothered to show up to serve us. We ordered simple fare, but my plate came with the wrong entrée, so another long wait. I asked for a to-go box for my leftover food, so the waiter took my plate away and packed the box for me ... and when I got it out to heat up for lunch the next day, there was a long blond hair in the food (the waiter did not have long blond hair). Ugh! All in all it took over an hour for what should have been a quick lunch; the service was horrible, and the to-go food was then inedible. I probably will not return.
(2)Hiba B.

(5)Troy B.
(5)Bob A.
Still one of the most unique dining establishments in OKC. The meatloaf is out of this world and I love their hummus and olive tapenade! I would give them 5 stars if I could just convince them to carry one premium NA beer, just one! Great place!
(4)Joey L.
(3)Lisa P.
(5)Heath A.
The food was very good, but the service was quite slow. It took a very long time to get refills and our check. If you are going for dinner, make sure you have reservations.
(4)Ashley A.
Paseo is sexy. Call it intimate if you want, but good wines, sheer curtained booths and discreet, attentive servers make it a serious date opportunity. Glasses for the far sighted are a thoughtful touch, guaranteed to make some diners smile in lieu of digging through purses and pockets just to peruse the menu. I found the fried green beans to be sort of cliché for OKC, but the cream of mushroom soup with a slice of Port Salut is fantastic. My meal was oversalted (what's up, OKC? Let the food shine through!), but tasty. Looking forward to trying this one again.

(5)Clayton M.

(5)Lindsey H.
(4)Janelle S.
Love the food AND the atmosphere here...very cool place to have a nice meal!
(4)Melinda I.
Well I usually hate to be hard on a place, but they definitely did not live up to my expectations. I thought service was painfully slow except on entrees which came out 2 minutes after our soup and salad. No apology and no offer to take back to kitchen to keep warm?? Entrée came out with wrong veggie and by the time we saw waiter again it was a dessert veggie. I ordered a glass of wine when my salad arrived to have with entrée and it came half way through dinner and was the completely wrong wine. Again kind of apologizes, ands it ends up being a dessert wine. Overall just disappointed with the experience and with so many fantastic choices in OKC in the same price range not sure why I would go back. I really think the server was the problem because the were not busy, and I think he was think he was problem on all accounts???
(2)Tyler G.
Food was very good all around. My steak was kind of stringy and had a decent amount of gristle, so for a prime steak I wasn't overly impressed but that's not the restaurant's fault. Worth your time, I will definitely go back.
(4)Ralph C.
(4)Bryan T.
(4)Meg W.
(3)Curt C.
(2)Jennifer C.
(5)Patrick M.
(5)Andrew C.
(1)Maria C.
Paseo Grill is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing, especially the Southwest Meatloaf!! You won't be disappointed and make sure to try one of their delicious desserts.
(5)Rita H.
(3)Dharmapaalini N.
(2)Hal H.
The Paseo Grill is a good place to go in the metro OKC area. It has some really good choices. We love the food and the Paseo atmosphere.
(5)Emily A.
(5)Juju G.
Love the privacy with the curtained booth seating, and the service is always great. I had the shrimp cocktail and my boyfriend had a meat dish. The food isn't great but not bad either and after dinner it's nice to walk over to another area in the Paseo district.
(3)Sara J.
I've never had a bad experience here. They have an excellent wine selection, and their appetizers are great too. I had the wedge salad, which was crisp and not too overloaded with dressing. Next I had the blackened trout with balsamic tomatoes instead of the sautéed green beans. It was my first time having the tomatoes and - wow. They stole the show. The blue cheese really added a nice flavor. It's a very simple side, but it was amazing. The avocado relish on the trout is also really great.

(5)Thomas S.

(5)Sean K.
(5)Greg A.

Try it!

This place looked dead when we drove up to it, but thankfully it was open! Food was good, drinks were good, price was reasonable. I had the duck which was pretty tasty. This is a solid restaurant option for OKC

I've only been here for lunch, but love the chicken pot pie--it's enough for two. I love the atmosphere.

Try the mushroom soup. It is amazing. Its not your 1950s Campbell's mushroom soup.
